1/20-10K Solid GOLD Type 5 SPECIAL Girl Scout MEMBERSHIP PIN RARE Collector

MEMBERSHIP PINS,
SPECIAL Type 5
OLD EAGLE LOGO,  1940 TO 1979
During the years of the Type 5 pins, there were several that were unusual for a variety of reasons,
the most common being a degree of gold content.
You can see on the back of this pin that the GOLD content is stated as, "1/20 10K," and the maker is "r" which is probably Robbins Co.   The result of the gold content is the fabulous details, like the stars, arrows, and the ribbon in the eagle's mouth.   This is NOT gold filled.  Pins that are "filled" are clearly stated.  I have other type 5 gold pins listed and the main difference is only the hallmark.   T
hese particular pins appear to be unused and NEW, but I have no proof except for the lack of wear, age-marks or flaws.  Perfect for the collector
and Museum Quality.
