GOLDEN EAGLET, 10 KARAT GOLD Pin,
Girl Scouts Highest Award in 1920-30s
The Golden Eaglet was the highest award available from 1919 to 1939.   This is the Middle Size
(of three sizes,) AND THE MOST SOUGHT piece of Girl Scout memorabilia for Collectors and for GIFTS.
It measures 7/8 inch X 7/8 inch, and was
available for only five years.
In 1939 the Golden Eaglet was discontinued.   You can still see the 10K-B hallmark on the back, indicating very little wear and excellent preservation.  The rolling safety catch works fine, and the pin itself is a very solid feel and is sturdy.  This is certainly strong enough and beautiful for wearing for another 100 years.
This is in Excellent Pre-Owed Condition.
You can see there are NO scratches or marks on the front, and minimal wear on the back.
The pictures show the exact pin you will receive
.   It is inscribed,
"L.E.W. '35".
Some collectors prefer the inscription, others prefer not, but I know from experience that a jeweler can remove and/or replace the inscription.  Golden Eaglets are a collector's dream, and as a consequence they are very hard to find.  Here is your chance to own and treasure one for yourself or for the Girl Scout you wish to honor.
