BROWNIE GIRL SCOUT BROOCH
FIGURAL PLASTIC PIN 1954
Just look at this adorable little Brownie Girl Scout with her kitten!
This was a very popular brooch or pin in the 1950s.
In fact it shows in the Girl Scout and
Brownie Catalogs from 1954 to 1958
.
It was replaced by the figural bust of a Brownie in 1959.
This
is in Excellent Used Condition, better than most
.  There is paint loss on her dress just left of the middle that you can see in the picture, but otherwise she is very nice with a sweet expression.
The catch is plastic and very vulnerable to breakage, but this one is perfect.  She measures approximately 2 inches tall and 1/2 inch wide.
