Here is a beautiful Antique Glass Display Dome that sits on a Gold Gilt Wood Base for your buying consideration.  Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself!
Offered here is a very nice and large and older glass display dome and base.  The glass dome is in very good condition, no cracks or blistering.  Cut glass base to the dome with some chipping, so an older dome, not a beaded bottom newer one.  Old imperfections in the glass from when originally molded.
The dome sits on a wood base that has 3 wooden legs. Gold gilt finish to the base.  The glass sits just inside the impression of the base.  A lot of these domes would have a sash that sat in the impressed area of the base.  This base did not come with one.  There is a hole in the center of the wood base.
The Antique Glass Dome Display Case stands 20.75" tall (dome by self is 17.5" tall), by 16" wide (12.5" wide by the dome only).  Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. The pictures provided both complement and supplement the listing description, so please look at them very closely as well.  With old items, there is no way one can capture all the little imperfections in words, so the two media are meant to be the full description. As can be expected when dealing with an antique clock, some adjustments may be needed after shipping to get the clock re-running correctly again as they can be very delicate.  If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocks before, I would suggest you steer clear.  One really needs to have the patience, and skill to work with these great works of art.  They are not our modern plug in and go, or change the battery clocks.  Please ask any questions relating to this matter, before you decide to purchase it. Payment Policy
PayPal is the only form of payment accepted. PayPal allows you to pay via an accepted credit card or a transfer from your bank account. Immediate payment is required for items where the full listing price is paid. When a best offer price is accepted, the sooner payment is made, the sooner your item will be shipped. Once full payment is received, your item will be shipped on the same or next business day (depending on the time of day the purchase is made).  For example, an item paid for on Tuesday will be shipped no later than end of day Wednesday.  An item paid for on Friday will be shipped no later than end of day Monday.  U.S. Federal holidays will impact shipping dates. No APO/FPO delivery. Items will be shipped via USPS or UPS Ground, based on the buyer's preference. Shipped on the same or next business day following receipt of full payment. We also obtain insurance on any item that was bought for or more, and require signature on delivery for items that are valued at over 0.  Plus we have to pay the 11.75% of the final value and shipping fees that eBay and PayPal charges.  Returns Policy Returns are accepted by seller within 14 days of receipt of item by buyer.  The Buyer will be assessed a 10% restocking fee should they decide to return this item for whatever the reason..Please note that a restocking fee is charged to to cover costs related to the loss of listing time and other potential sales, plus the amount of care and time that goes into preparing our unique and fragile items for shipping. In compliance with eBay's buyer protection program, the purchase price plus original shipping cost will be refunded to the buyer once the item has been received by the seller, minus the 10% restocking fee noted. Buyer would pay for the return shipping cost and any applicable insurance cost (item is buyer's financial responsibility until safely returned to the seller).
