Blue Lapis + Gemstone Map of the World w/4 Clocks Handmade 18"x12" No Frame

Description

This gemstone world map is handcrafted with over 30 different semi-precious gemstones. Each country is inlaid from a different stone, and the stones are individually cut and ground to exacting interlocking shapes. The elements of the map are created out of lapis lazule, mother of pearl, amethyst, African jade, tiger's eye, jasper, turquoise, purple quartz, onyx, unakite, abalone and many other beautifully hued stones.

18"x12.5" + this is quite thick at 1/2 an inch.
Condition:
Clocks are untested + are not working. But they probably just need new batteries. Think this may have been framed at one time, but this is how it was found. Could probably get it framed if you prefer. Very heavy. No chips or cracks. The back appears to be covered in Chinese newspapers but most of it has fallen off. Sold as is, as found. See photos.
