This is a beast of a unit, at 2.25 HP and 12lbs its not a little spin-up router. You'll notice I have several routers listed, this is a professional router, don't be scared by the little crack, that is the reason this unit isn't priced in the mid 3-4 hundred. This unit works great, it was dropped and the front edge broke off and the plastic plate cracked apart. Truth is installing a new bottom plastic plate is all this unit really needs, the minor chipped off edge will not interfere with the actual usage. There is some tape on the cord, this unit was used for instruction purposes and if the cord had any loss of voltage it would have been replaced. Again, its totally worth replacing it if you want, but a nice new tape job is all thats needed. This is a high end unit that was to expensive to justify purchasing for the low to mid range user. This is an opportunity to own a high end router for way less than they sold for, when you can find one for sale.
