Description
This listing features one 11.5" oval celery dish made by the Fostoria Glass Company. The dish was made as an azure blue blank, and then decorated with their lovely "June" etch! This "June" pattern was one of the most highly sought after patterns of the brides of the depression era.
Fostoria's "June" pattern was made between the years of 1928 to 1944, and today
is the most collected of the Fostoria elegant depression glass patterns.
This bowl comes from my Daddy's Fostoria blue June collection. It is listed by Fostoria as a celery bowl, but could also be used to serve other veggies (perhaps broccoli) or could even serve as a fruit tray. Note also that I do have two of these available.
The dish is bright and shiny, and I see no utensil markings! There are a few usage marks on the base of the bowl which occurred during use. These marks are located on the milled-off part of the bowl (the section that contacts a shelf or table), and are not deep into the glass.
I will ship this piece to you via UPS with tracking and insurance as I have found they can ship heavier or bulkier items much cheaper than can the postal service. I will pack the item very well to protect it on its journey to you.
I will accept return of the item within 30 (thirty) days of your receipt with the return shipping fees at the buyer's expense, and provided there has been no damage or change made to the piece.
My items ship from Oklahoma. When a package crosses either the Appalachians to the East or the Rockies to the West, the shipping rates can seem high. Please know that I charge exact shipping only, and do NOT inflate those rates. Should there be any difference between the shipping rate you paid and the actual shipping rate, I will promptly refund that amount to your account through the website.
Thank you for stopping by my listings!
