Girl Scout FRIENDSHIP PIN
was offered in the Girl Scout Catalogs
- ONLY THREE YEARS!
As with other painted pins from the 1950s, the background colors chipped very easily.   However, this pin is NEW on the original card, and
without any missing paint.
It measures approximately 7/8 inch X 3/4 inch.  These came to me with the two black marks on the card.  I imagine one is the price and the other is the item number.  I suppose whomever originally got them, bought them on sale.  Notice the large "L" on the back.  It is most likely "Lyon Brothers," who made many of the early Girl Scout pins.   GREAT GIFT for any Girl Scout enthusiast, or how about a GIFT FOR YOUR LEADER?
