Lot of 3 Booths "Chinese Tree" A8001 Small Bowls, Made in England, Vintage.  These are 3 beautiful original Booths "Chinese Tree" small bowls in varying sizes. I believe these are hand-painted over transfer ware.
Thomas Booth created the Chinese Tree dinnerware from 1912-1929, and his company eventually merged with Royal Doulton in 1971. These three bowls include:
1) Largest bowl is 5-1/2" diameter at the top, and is 3-1/2" deep. There is gray-colored crazing inside due to age. No chips or cracks, and otherwise this bowl is in good condition for age.
2) Medium sized bowl is 4-3/4" diameter at the top, and 3-1/4" deep. There about 10 small tan-colored spots on the inside of the bowl, but there is no crazing, chips or cracks.
3) Smallest bowl is 4-1/4" diameter at the top, 2-3/4" deep. There are about 8 tiny tan-colored spots and other tiny pin-point size paint spots. No chips, cracks or crazing. This little bowl is otherwise in very good condition.
The three bowls fit inside one another for storage. These lovely bowls have been carefully stored in a pet-free and smoke-free home. For security they will be shipped USPS Priority Mail.
