Lot of 57 Vintage Orange & Green Bakelite Lucite Plastic Buttons Cookies Carved

Description

Lot of 57 Bakelite (maybe some Lucite) buttons in oranges and greens.  Various designs and sizes; one side of a belt buckle.  The card on the right indicates at the bottom that the buttons are navy, but over the years the navy has turned to green.  Tested.  Most gave a strong test; some tested very faintly.  Because of the faint tests for some of these buttons, I can only assume they are Bakelite.  But, since they may not be, I have also included the terms “Lucite” and “Plastic” to this description.  I am not a button expert and can only go on my research..
Very good vintage condition; the larger green button with silver accents is missing its shank.  Clean and from a smoke-free environment.
