    Description
    Whether acquired
    for yourself or a special recipient, this very
    special, working residential electric meter from the 1920's will
    instantly become the center of attention wherever it is displayed.
    Switching-on this unique lamp brings the meter to life, with
    slowly-rotating gears visible through the meter's original
    glass cover. This cover is specially polished to provide a high
    level of clarity for the interior working mechanism.
    This is the
    Deluxe
    version of the Model OB-LI Antique Electric
    Meter Lamp. Both the meter base and terminal cover have
    been plated in
    bright brass
    . In addition, the meter's brass register gears
    display their original 1920's
    gold plating
    , a process applied to select
    meters on the original production line.
    Included are three copper wire, pressed wingnut security seals,
    just like the olden-days metermen installed to thwart tampering.
    A second in-line cord switch is there for your convenience.

    A separate 1" x 4" brass plate is also included for your
    own engraving, if desired.
