Girl Scouts Official Pin
This is an adult pin awarded to an OUTSTANDING LEADER.   This is the original design from 1987 without the lettering that was added in 2001. (I consider this style to be more valuable
because the lettering is missing
.  It could easily not be recognized since there is no trefoil or other Girl Scout logo.  It will appreciate in value in time.)  This is usually awarded at the Council level after being nominated by the local area.  It measures approximately 7/8 inch in diameter.  It is said to be enamel over metal so should be quite sturdy.  From the front, and to my eye, it appears to be new.
Because you cannot buy this pin (it must be awarded,) this would be an excellent replacement for a lost pin or for the Collector or for display.
