This is absolutely gorgeous!  You won’t find a more detailed or more beautiful pin in all of Girl Scout memorabilia. (My opinion, of course!)  It measures approximately 1 ¼ x 1 ¼ inches.    I’ve put it next to a standard size membership pin for comparison.  The catch is a heavy piece of bent metal sometimes called a C-hook. The patina is as lovely as you see in the picture, which is how I prefer it.  It could be cleaned to be a consistent color throughout.
