. Many people agree that this is one of the most beautiful watthour meters ever produced. Everything is original. There are no cracks in the glass. The moving parts are all free. Nothing on this meter has been polished up or refurbished. It is 100% original beauty. Please check out all my photos. Due to the fact that the glass is irreplaceable I must take appropriate measures to assure safe delivery. I will remove the glass and double or triple box those two pieces. I will mount the meter on plywood and construct a wooden case around it. Then I will put the mini crate in a heavy duty carton. It will take substantial time and a few dollars for supplies. Smithsonian Museum. It may or may not matter to you, but this particular meter was on loan to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. They had it for
several
years. I have no way of telling if it was ever displayed or not. I can document this information to whoever buys this meter if they want it. I also have several more similar items that were on loan to them that I will be listing.
