Large library stand globe with maps according to Vaugondy (court cartographer Louis XV). The stand consists of two parts and is made of high-quality wood and finished with a shellac polish. The map material has been laid out and glued according to old tradition from 12 segments of the same size. The equator ring is a massive inlaid bronze ring.
General:
The article imitates antiques from the time it was made new, based on an old model. The integrated signs of use ensure the antique character and are intended to underline the nostalgic look. Therefore, these signs of use are intentional and do not represent a quality defect.

Legend:
No Renaissance library, reception desk, or commercial office was complete without a large globe in an appropriate stand. Globe cartographers and publishers released new globes each year to keep their clientele up to date with the latest discoveries and explorations. This included new trade routes, new ports of call... eventually even new continents! Our globe, with floor stand, has a diameter of 32 cm and thus represents the classic shape as it has been cultivated over the centuries.
