Table Top Blue Lapis Rotating Globe with Compass on Copper Plated Tripod Stand

Description

This handsome table top world globe stands approximately 11” in height by 9 ½” in width and features a striking hand-crafted blue lapis, mother of pearl and gemstone globe that rotates on a movable axis with numeral markings.  Shiny latitude and longitude lines are embedded into the globe while a polished copper plated tripod stand holds the globe and compass.  This unmarked world globe is in good condition with the exception of some wear and scuffs/surface scratches on the metal rim and a few nicks on the globe (shown in last photos).  Despite these imperfections this is a unique and extraordinary world globe that would add to the décor of any office or study.  Note:  Please excuse the poor quality of the photos due to glare from the overhead lighting.
