Vintage Booths Silicon China Lg Soup Plate-Pompadour-Blue & White-Made 1907-1920
This is a rare, hard to find Booths Silicon China large rimmed soup bowl in "The Pompadour" pattern that is only in blue and white, no color. It's in good condition for it's age (1907-1920). It does have several small chips on the bottom of the rim and one that approx: 1/2" x 3/4" that appears to be original as it is glazed. All chips and nicks cannot be seen unless the bowl is turned over. There is also overall crazing, heavy wear to the gold on the rim and some light scratching from use. Measures approx: 10 3/8" wide and 1/2" deep and is marked "Booths" over a crown and "Silicon China England" "The Pompadour" which is the oldest logo for this pattern. Nice,  scarce piece for the collector!
