Hello everyone. Welcome to my auctions. Here I am presenting a gorgeous pair of candle holders in the etched
VESPER
pattern in the
" BLUE "
color. The
VESPER( PLATE ETCHING NO. 275 )
pattern was produced by
FOSTORIA GLASS CO
.  VESPER is an early etched pattern.  It was produced from 1926 - 1934.  Vesper was produced in amber, green and blue.
This is a gorgeous etched pattern.  This is probably one of the most collected and one of the most successful of the
FOSTORIA
glass early etched patterns. Here we have a gorgeous pair of candle holders.  The candle holders have a round shape base.  They each holds one candle.  The round base or foot of the candle holders has a diameter of aprox. 4 - 1/2 inches.  The candle holders have a height of aprox. 3 - 1/2 inches.
This pair is the NO. 2394 as listed on the FOSTORIA catalogs.  This blue VESPER candle holders are a " VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND AND AN ELUSIVE " pair.  Blue VESPER was only produced for two years(1926 - 1928) making the blue VESPER pieces very " RARE ".  This BLUE color was introduced in 1924.

of cracks, chips, flakes, nicks or damage
