    VINTAGE JACOB RUPPERT BREWING KNICKERBOCKER draft beer tap handle. New York and Orange, New Jersey. Originally founded in 1867. Official beer of the New York giants. Closed on Dec 31st, 1965. Discontinued in the 1970's. I have several early Knickerbocker beer cans in my private collection. Jacob Ruppert Jr. also owned the N.Y. Yankees from 1915-1939. They could get lots of free beer I'll bet. Very collectible vintage piece. It came new in original box and wrapped in a blue cloth bag as seen. Tap is listed as new but it is not perfect. The ages have caught up to it and the crackle has been instilled forever under the clear glaze. Super cool effect in my opinion. Does not affect integrity of the handle but I would not recommend using due to it being around 70 years old. One piece ceramic handle. No damage. Hand painted gold accents. Extremely rare 1950's beer pull. Yours will come with original cloth bag and ship well protected in another box. Tap stands 11-3/4 inches tall. Tap have been turned and rotated till all sides are shown. This is the actual item you will receive. Stand and box not included.
