Vintage RAND McNALLY World Portrait Globe on Stand 12" Textured Table Top Globe

Vintage 14 1/4" high Rand McNally 12" diameter World Portrait Globe on Stand
Age discoloration & some brown stains at a few spots on globe (ex photo11 & 12). I can see aged yellowing/browning at the seams. Blue equator all the way around is intact. The base stand and frame have some rust spots/pitting on it. I am not really sure how to work the globe but the metal round piece around it which has the numbers on does not stay in the upright position. It kind of hangs/hoover in the middle as you can see in photos 1-4. Not sure if that is how it is suppose to be or not. I can feel and see some slight raising on the mountains of the globe.
I'd say from around the 1970's
Measures 14 1/4" tall on the base, but the globe measures 12" in diameter. Weighs 2 pounds 10 ounces (prior to packaging)
