Vintage/Antique 1928 Westinghouse Pacific Gas & Electric OB Meter, 25a, 115-230v

Nicely restored
1928 Westinghouse OB
electric meter that served with
Pacific Gas & Electric Company
which is California's largest utility serving the northern California region. A
new
PG&E
lead seal
was attached to the right front wing nut (
photo # 3
)
.
PG&E also writes the utility assigned meter number on the bottom or top right of the meter stator frame as can be seen in
photo # 6
. The meter was stripped down to bare metal,
given a coat of primer,
painted a fine metallic bronze  and given three applications of clear lacquer.
The meter frame face and stator mounting frame are both finished in polished metal,
please view photo # 11.
The original meter wiring schematic is still attached behind the front terminal cover (
see photo # 8
. Meter is in excellent working condition, will come with one new copper lead seal and will be tested for proper disk rotation before shipping. An excellent piece to add to your meter collection.
